Emil Wakim is moving to NYC. In his relatively short time in comedy, Emil's resume is super impressive. After less than a year in comedy, he won the 10th Annual Bloomington Comedy Festival. Soon after, he began touring the country with Nikki Glaser, performing in both comedy clubs and theaters. He wrote jokes for the Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin and appeared on Comedy Central Radio on XM/Sirius. And in 2021, Emil will be featured in an episode of "Hunters," a new documentary-style show on Vice. Join us and let's send Emil out in style!
Comedian Emil Wakim inked a deal with Netflix to record his debut, hour-long stand-up special. While a specific premiere date has not yet been announced, he is set to film the performance at the Comedy Attic in Bloomington, Indiana- returning to the stage where he originally started his comedy career nearly a decade prior.
Be part of history! Only one other Netflix special has been filmed outside of a theatre and that at the most famous comedy venue on Earth- The Comedy Cellar in NYC.

SNL alum Emil Wakim has inked a deal to bring his first full-length comedy special to Netflix. A premiere date has not yet been disclosed. Wakim will tape the hour in October.
It’ll be executive produced by Matthew Vaughan for Rotten Science.
A stand-up comedian, actor, and writer, Wakim made history in 2024 as the first Lebanese American to be cast in Saturday Night Live, performing as a featured cast member during the landmark Season 50, with frequent appearances on Weekend Update.
Prior to his time on the sketch series, Wakim taped sets for Don’t Tell Comedyand Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring, with his stand-up also featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Based in Brooklyn, the comedian was named a New Face at Just for Laughs Montreal in 2022. He’ll be seen in A24’s upcoming comedy Peaked from Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan, as we first reported, and is repped by UTA and Strig Artist Management.
